Dollar News, published twice a year by Dollar Community Council, aims to disseminate information to residents about the council’s activities and ongoing issues affecting the town.

Local clubs and societies are invited to submit contributions and news items so that people are aware of what they do and are able to get a flavour of forthcoming events being organised.

Dollar News also acts as a platform for those in the community and outside it who have something of special import to say regarding what happens to the town. It is important that organisations of all kinds use the publication to keep others in touch and allow the newsletter to act as a conduit for the community.
